I sit in a neighborhood tonight after living in the middle of nowhere for a most amazing month... and it is weird.
It is really weird to be in an Americanized place.....
I think about the kids in Egypt tonight.
I think about the Christian families and schoolteachers in Pakistan tonight.
I think about those sleeping in slums... and those who live in dangerous life-threatening villages.
I think about those who are ignorant of what is going on.
I realized this week that to FEEL what GOD FEELS is costly...
Example:
God's heart was broken over His Israel who kept running away from Him. Hosea felt something like this when God asked him to marry a prostitute who would love other men and raisin cakes.
God still pursued Israel.
Hosea still pursued his wife of prostitution.
God still pursues us..........
Let's pursue the lost, the poor, the prostitute, the rich, and the hungry with the love of Jesus... How costly is this? What will this look like for me? For you?
Let's do the radical things.
I dont know if that made sense but i needed to write it down.
